What is aividlab?
aividlab is a visual toolkit: our goal is to pack practical tools for working with visual content into one lightweight desktop app, step by step.
The current v1.0.1 is the first release, and it starts with the two most common tasks — video download and video playback: save videos from over 1,800 websites to your computer, then watch them right in the app. Future releases will add more practical features, and the toolkit will keep growing.
Included in the current version
A complete experience built around download → watch:
- Video download: supports 1,800+ video websites, with popular sites such as Bilibili, Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, and TikTok fully tested.
- Batch downloads and task management: run multiple downloads at once, with pause / resume, speed limiting, and a download location of your choice; collections and multi-part videos are organized automatically, and new episodes can be synced in one click.
- Site login: reuses the login state already stored in your system browser — no re-login needed; you can also log in inside the app or import a cookie file.
- Built-in player: play videos the moment they finish downloading, with playback speed, subtitles, skip forward/back, and fullscreen. Playback progress is remembered for each video automatically.
- Three platforms: available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Local and private: everything is processed on your computer — videos and login information are never uploaded to any server.
- Free forever: downloading and playback have no paywall of any kind.
